Let daily work rates of Amal, Sunil, and Kamal be A,S,KA, S, K. Since A,S,KA, S, K are in Harmonic Progression, 1A,1S,1K\frac{1}{A}, \frac{1}{S}, \frac{1}{K} are in Arithmetic Progression.

Kamal takes twice as much time as Amal     K=A2    1K=2A\implies K = \frac{A}{2} \implies \frac{1}{K} = \frac{2}{A}.

Since 1S\frac{1}{S} is the average of 1A\frac{1}{A} and 1K\frac{1}{K}: 1S=1A+2A2=32A    S=23A\frac{1}{S} = \frac{\frac{1}{A} + \frac{2}{A}}{2} = \frac{3}{2A} \implies S = \frac{2}{3}A
