In how many ways a committee consisting of 5 men and 6 women can be formed from 8 men and 10 women ?

Answer

The number of ways to select 5 men from 8 men is $^{8}C_{5}$ and 6 women from 10 women is $^{10}C_{6}$ .

Total number of ways = $^{8}C_{5} \times ^{10}C_{6} = 56 \times 210 = 11760$ .
