Initial direction = West. Clockwise turns = +45∘+180∘=+225∘+45^\circ + 180^\circ = +225^\circ. Anti-clockwise turn = −270∘-270^\circ. Net turn = 225∘−270∘=−45∘225^\circ - 270^\circ = -45^\circ (i.e., 45∘45^\circ anti-clockwise). Turning 45∘45^\circ anti-clockwise from West points to South-West.
