Total salary = 5(15,000)+3(40,000)+1(66,000)=75,000+120,000+66,000=261,0005(15,000) + 3(40,000) + 1(66,000) = 75,000 + 120,000 + 66,000 = 261,000. Mean = 261,0009=29,000\frac{261,000}{9} = 29,000. Difference = 29,000−15,000=14,00029,000 - 15,000 = 14,000.
