E. Let original number of members be $n$. $ rac{2400}{n - 10} - rac{2400}{n} = 12$ $\implies rac{200}{n-10} - rac{200}{n} = 1 \implies 200(10) = n(n-10) \implies n^2 - 10n - 2000 = 0$ $(n - 50)(n + 40) = 0 \implies n = 50$. Actual members who made laddoos = $50 - 10 = 40$.
